Review :
My kids all love to draw.  On my Kindle Fire and iPad Mini I have apps for them to draw and paint when we are waiting for appointments or similar times.  Of the Apps I have tried and my children have used, I must say that I do like Live Colors best for young children.

Live Colors gives the user the basic 6 colors to start with, but also includes a mixing "tray" where they can learn to mix different color combinations.  Yes, they can mix Red and Yellow to make Orange, but also, can then add some White to make a lighter Orange, or Black to make it darker, or add in some Blue or Green to see what color they can come up with.  I love the variety and fun they can have mixing up their own unique colors to make pictures that are fun and unique.  Yes, I personally tried this and had a little too much fun mixing colors!

The coloring pages that are already provided have fun animations and character voices to further engage younger children and entertain and teach as well.  Overall I found this to be a fun and educational App for young ones to play and learn with.
